The day begins with the Moon in steady, earthy Taurus, favouring root work and grounded, methodical tasks. Later, it shifts into lively Gemini, bringing a lighter, more curious mood to both our gardening and our interactions. Today also marks the transition from an ascending to a descending Moon—moving from a period when plant forces are drawn upward into stems and leaves, to one where energy returns to the roots and soil. In biodynamics, working in harmony with these rhythms deepens our connection to the living cycles of the Earth, aligning our efforts with nature’s own timing. As the Moon descends, we may feel more inward and reflective, finding satisfaction in quiet, steady work that nourishes what lies beneath the surface—both in the garden and in ourselves.
