We end the month of February with the New Moon. As the Moon rises in the constellation of Aquarius before quickly transitioning into Pisces, we are presented with an opportunity for renewal as we approach March and the calls of Spring. It is a time to pause, reflect, and prepare ourselves for the rest of the year. We can compare the seasons of the year to the parts of a plant and the elements: Winter corresponds to Water and the leaves; Spring to Air and the flowers; Summer to Fire and the fruits; and Autumn to Earth and the roots. Now, we find ourselves on the threshold of transition, moving gently from the depths of Water to the lightness of Air, as the energies of renewal begin to stir.
