Wednesday 28th January

Wednesday 28th January
With the Moon held in Taurus all day, there is an invitation to deepen into the earth, into rooting, steadiness, and quiet nourishment. Taurus draws our attention downward, encouraging warmth and life to gather slowly in the soil, even while winter still holds the surface. In preparation for Candlemas in the coming days, candle wicks may be dipped in beeswax — an ancient craft, rich in symbolism and care. These candles are traditionally placed into the earth, marking the gradual increase of light and the gentle warming of the ground beneath our feet. At this midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, also known as Imbolc, we sense the first stirrings of renewal — light returning not in haste, but with patience, promise, and trust in what is quietly taking root.
