Sunday 26th October

Sunday 26th October
Today, the Moon reaches its lowest point on the horizon in the constellation of Scorpio. As it moves into Aries halfway through the day, it also begins to ascend. The Moon will reach a higher point each day for the next two weeks in its sidereal rhythm. This influences the plants, as the sap begins to move upward from the roots into the leaves and all parts above the ground. In biodynamics, this ascending period is favourable for activities such as pruning or harvesting, while it is less favourable for transplanting, since the forces that normally support root development are now directed towards the aerial parts of the plant.
