Thursday 1st May
In the cycle of the year, we now stand between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice, a time traditionally celebrated in Europe as the May Day Festival. Wildflowers are gathered, villagers dance around the Maypole, and, in England, cows are released into the pastures, kicking up their heels in joyful excitement. As the moon shifts from Taurus to Gemini in the early morning hours, it mirrors the spirit of jubilation woven into May Day, as the full vitality of spring comes into bloom.
