The moon rises in the constellation of Aquarius. Although named the Water Bearer, this sign is associated with the air element, which in biodynamics corresponds to the flowers of plants. In biodynamics, roots have an affinity with the earth element, leaves with water, flowers with air and light, and fruits and seeds with fire. We can observe each plant progressing through these stages of development. Plants cultivated primarily for their flowers and beauty focus their energy on flowering. Throughout history, our ancestors have cultivated plants and vegetables not only to provide sustenance but also to bring beauty and abundance to our lives.
