The moon begins the day in the warmth of Sagittarius before crossing the threshold into the constellation of Capricorn, moving us from the element of fire to the element of earth. Perhaps this shift brings something of a reality check, asking us to build our ideas on firm foundations. It is a good energy for working on practical tasks and getting things into order. In the garden, Capricorn represents a good time to continue preparing vegetable beds for transplanting our seedlings. We might hoe the surface to reduce weed growth, or rake carefully to create a well-shaped bed, ready to receive new plants.
