Tuesday 6th May
The moon descends in the constellation of Leo, which connects to the heart and reminds us to act with courage, creativity, and self-expression as we engage with the world. In the garden, from a biodynamic perspective, it is an excellent time to tend to fruiting vegetables and to sow beans, zucchini, and cucumbers, which find affinity with the warmth forces of the moon in Leo. Sowing seeds is a therapeutic endeavour: as we hold a seed in our hand, let us imagine its past and its future. In our minds, let us picture it bursting open—the first leaves rising up, the taproot reaching down, growing ever upward with new leaves, flowering, and eventually fruiting.
