Wednesday 19th March

Wednesday 19th March
After a short stay in the constellation of Libra, the moon moves into the constellation of Scorpio, shifting our hearts from a feeling of lightness to one of emotional depth. In the garden, this becomes a favourable time to sow salads, cabbages, and spinach due to Scorpio’s affinity with water and the close relationship between leafy plants and the water element. The constellations of Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio are the three water constellations, and each month, as the moon passes through all twelve constellations, it offers many opportunities to garden in harmony with these rhythms. Biodynamic gardeners follow these cycles to enhance vitality. Scorpio, in particular, brings the potential for transformation, different from the transfiguration that comes from fire—Scorpio embraces us with water.
