Wednesday 8th October

Wednesday 8th October
Today the Moon reaches the point of perigee, when it is closest to the Earth in its elliptical orbit. This close pass gave us the supermoon yesterday, when the full Moon appeared larger and brighter in the sky. In the garden, the effects of perigee are disadvantageous — it is best to avoid sowing, transplanting, or disturbing the soil. This lunar event may also bring a heaviness or an overwhelming quality to the day, so it is important to remain grounded and gentle with ourselves, allowing space for rest and reflection. As the Moon begins to move outward again, balance gradually returns.
