Monday 9th February
The Moon rises in Libra, the Scales, bringing a sense of balance and harmony to the day. The brightest star in Libra, Zubenelgenubi, is notable for being the only zodiac star visible to the unaided eye with a distinctly greenish tint—something you can step outside and observe for yourself under clear skies. Libra brings an airiness to the day, and in biodynamic gardening, it is considered a flower day. This makes it a good opportunity to plant Jerusalem artichokes, which develop nourishing tubers beneath the soil while also rising upward to produce a striking flower, similar in essence to a sunflower.
