Tuesday 10th February

Tuesday 10th February
The Moon passes from Libra into Scorpio, shifting the day from a flower quality into a leaf day. Yet a new rhythm comes into play as the Moon reaches its furthest distance from the Earth in its elliptical orbit. This moment is known as apogee, and it brings an intensification of light forces that can override the usual leaf influence, restoring a flower-day quality to the time. This creates a favorable opportunity to tend to flowers in the garden. In February, depending on your climate, you may choose to sow sweet peas, along with hardy annuals such as calendula, larkspur, cornflowers, or nigella. In milder regions, early sowings of violas or pansies can also be supported, allowing color and form to quietly prepare themselves beneath the soil in anticipation of spring.
