Tuesday 19th May

Tuesday 19th May
Today, the Moon rises in Taurus, but soon crosses the threshold into the constellation of Gemini. As we wake, we are met by the lightness and freshness of Gemini, a shift away from the earthy heaviness of Taurus, which may have felt grounding but also limiting in our outward expression. Gemini brings movement, air and conversation. It invites us to be more sociable, adaptable and open to working with others. In the garden, this makes it an ideal time to sow and transplant flowers, bringing colour, beauty and brightness into the growing season. It is also a favourable time to harvest flowers that have reached their full expression. In biodynamics, flowers picked on a flower day are often thought to hold their freshness and vitality for longer, making this a good moment to gather blooms for the home, the table or the workshop.
