Today the Moon continues its journey through the constellation, rooting us in the activities of the day. The Moon is not visible in the evening sky as it reaches its new phase, offering an opportunity for renewal and reset. In biodynamic agriculture, this is an auspicious time to stir and spray the cow horn manure preparation (500), which helps enliven the soil when applied. A small pinch of the preparation is stirred for one hour in a barrel, moving through a rhythmic cycle of order and chaos — a vortex is formed in one direction, then deliberately broken and turned into turbulence as the stirrer reverses the motion.
