The Moon rises in the constellation of Virgo before transitioning into Libra midway through the day. Libra brings a sense of balance and offers a time for rest and relaxation, and to appreciate the beauty of nature as the seasonal shift gains momentum. The leaves turn from green to orange, red, and finally brown; they fall and carpet the ground. As they break down, they return nutrients to the soil. However, it is beneficial to gather them for composting—especially those that fall on hard surfaces or areas without soil contact. Collect them and create a leaf mould, which will provide a rich compost to use in spring.
