Matt Sweeney October 21, 2024 Universal released this huge double vinyl collection of the Netherlands’ greatest rock band; it’s perfect and it’s impossible to find this album streaming. Led by street genius Wally Tax, The Outsiders burned bright and burned out in 1969 and were utterly original: sketchy, violent and rocking, sounding like The Fall sometimes in its danceable menace, with smart fucked-up lyrics. Robert Pollard turned me on to this band, he loves them.
